A dead mans soul cries out against the force of a ferocious blizzard. He cries for help. He cries for answers. Then he screams as he is torn apart like damp tissue paper.

This wasnt the first time, and it wont be the last.

The police are powerless to stop it, so the duty falls to the only ones who can. What force could be so powerful – and so malevolent – that it would destroy the very core of a life in order to get what it wants? Rosa Blackwell and Joey Mallone mean to find out, even if it means risking themselves in the process.

The thrilling final game in the Blackwell series - "Blackwell 1: Legacy," "Blackwell 2: Unbound," "Blackwell 3: Convergence," and "Blackwell 4: Deception."

Rock Paper Shotgun - "Its pretty much the perfect ending, both wrapping up and nailing a series thats been going from strength to strength since it first appeared way back in 2006."

PC Gamer - "The high-point of a consistently strong series, and a great showcase of adventure game design that fits the storys theme." [82%]

Gazebo - "The Blackwell Epiphany powerfully and poetically concludes a game series which has lasted nearly a decade." [4/5]

Indiegames.com - "It nails the tone, raises the stakes, brilliantly concludes the over-arching story and looks better than ever."

RPGFan - "Im delighted that the final game in the series capitalizes on all that came before and delivers a solid, satisfying ending." [85%]

Pros and cons of Blackwell 5: Epiphany app for iPhone and iPad

Blackwell 5: Epiphany app good for

App crashes on my 4 Gen Ipod even when special effects are off. I really love these games and Im super disappointed I cant play the final installment.
Absolutely loved each installment of this series. Excellent story line, hours of play for each episode, and thought-provoking game play. Im a die hard fan of retro point-and-click games, and this one fits the bill for me. The final episode is the perfect ending to a great series. I highly recommend this game
The whole series is awesome! Classic, old school point n click adventure! Please keep on making these in the same style. Love
What can I say? It was incredible! The Blackwell series is easily one of the best point and click games out there. Each instalment is more gripping then the last - and successfully brings you deeper and deeper into the story and gameplay. The voice work, the storylines, the sound work; everything is perfect! Great job!
Loved this series from start to finish I was sorry to see it end. I hope more like this come out. Brilliant
Awesome adventure! Keep wadjeteye games coming to iOS please!

Some bad moments

They keep deleting all the bad reviews instead of FIXING the mess. THIS GAME DOES NOT RETAIN YOUR PROGRESS!!!!!!! Know it now. Im spitting nails if you cant tell. DEEEEEEEEELETE!!!!!!!
First-rate art, music, writing and acting. Even the puzzles strike a nice balance. You couldnt ask for a better conclusion to the Blackwell series. And for the record, Blackwell Epiphany is significantly longer than any of the other games.
Played this on a PC but had to have this on my iPad mini. Have been a fan of this series from the start, and this latest episode (final?) does not disappoint. No problems so far with gameplay, and the music is so very atmospheric (jazz) for the setting and game era. The intimacy of the touchpad over the mouse adds to the feeling of immersion in the story. Puzzles are logical and the player isnt bogged down with countless inventory items at once. Player gets to be two characters of the duo and its cool figuring out which character will be needed (but for long-time series fans, choosing wont be that difficult, lol). Looking forward to the next Wadget Eye Games creation--hope its another mystery.
I am sad that this is the conclusion; this is truly one of the best series of games that I have ever played. This game took hours to complete, had a compelling storyline, and moderately complex puzzles without a hint system (aside from the natural "plan next move" conversation option perhaps). I am looking forward to playing other games by Wadjet Eye Games. I can not fathom how much time and energy producing a game of this magnitude must take, but I appreciate its existence.
Really enjoying the game thus far, but how can I get Joey to blow on the computer mouse in Emils office? The action bar that has blowing is not available when you are looking at the desk up close.
The entire Blackwell series has been an absolute pleasure to play. While providing a nod to the classic 1920s PI mystery, it has a refreshing modern-day perspective. The storyline is amazingly well thought out and well you do not need to play the entire series to enjoy A single chapter, the collection as a whole is a satisfying as a good book.
